There were a record number of kids registered at 178 and even though this is not a school event isn’t it great to see so many proudly sporting their school colors, representing 28 schools in total, from Albion to West Vancouver.
With thanks to so many who registered, our generous sponsors and the Athletes In Kind sales matched by Scotiabank we were able to raise over $2300.00! This means more help to families who are struggling financially while their child is in Cancer treatment.
We hope to see you at our next race on July 1st in Pitt Meadows for the Canada Day 8k and Kids Fun Run. This time we are on the road and the course is flat and fast. A great place to test the legs and cheer Mom and Dad in the 8k.
