This first time event was a success. The participants had fun, the parents were coffeed and fed while they waited for their children to cross the finish line, the weather held out ( cool but not wet) & we raised a couple thousand dollars which was matched by Scotia bank. Our hope is that the kids will look forward to this event again next year and bring a friend.

There are 2 races left in our Kids Race Series: Mothers Day Spring Classic in Pt Moody May 10th and the AIK "kids helping kids"Canada Day Fun Run July 1st in Pitt Meadows. Race Passports are available at participating Scotia banks in Ridge Meadows & the Tri-Cities until June 30th & at the Mothers Day and Canda Day events. The $20.00 Passport fee gets you the Canada Day Kids Fun Run and a chance to win the grand prize. The Passport fee of $20.00 will be matched by Scotiabank.
